Ms. Terri and Mr. Richard have been married for over 20 years and are parents to a blended family of 11 adult
children. Terri & Richard are also known as "Grandma and Grandpa B" to their 23 grandchildren ranging
in age from infants to teenagers.
Throughout her lifetime, Terri has continually surrounded herself with young children and has a genuine talent and
passion for working with them. She earned her CDA (Child Development Associates Degree) in 1995 and since then, besides
repeated home-based daycare environments, she has also owned and directed 3 of her own centers and been a director at several
others. In addition, she has been a teacher for Head Start and a trainer for the Child Care Resource & Referral
Agency. In her "off time" she has served a couple stints as a secretary for an advertising agency, and as a call center
agent doing reservations and tracing lost luggage for Delta Airlines. But, always, first and foremost, she is a loving
and nurturing, patient and experienced..... Mother and Teacher. And, she has discovered she is happiest when working
with preschoolers!
She also enjoys reading and writing, and has had some of her work published! She and her husband and partner,
Richard, both play violin and enjoy all aspects of music -- especially singing. They are members of the Choral Arts
Society of Utah and have performed at the LDS Tabernacle in Salt Lake City and Carnegie Hall in New York City. They
are planning now on performing with their choir at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC for Memorial Day 2011. Terri
enjoys being church choir director and leading the congregational singing, too. Together, they also love riding on their
Honda Gold Wing motorcycle and are past members of GWRRA and Temple Riders. Terri is also considered an authority on
ADD/ADHD and has appeared on TV & Radio talk shows speaking about the subject. Richard is a retired Accountant and
an avid Sci/Fi fan and Trekkie! He is also an incredible cook and will be making sure we have wonderful, tasty, and
FUN food to eat at daycare in addition to "keeping the books" and driving the kids to/from elementary schools in the area
